This is a custom order for Jan.

This Texas Star floor medallion / backsplash is hand crafted from porcelain floor tile. It will have contrasting colors on each of the points of the star giving it more visual depth. This medallion comes mounted on a mesh backing and divided into sections for easy installation and handling. The porcelain tile chosen for this medallion includes: (1) Adessi Uptown Antracite II Matte porcelain tile that will be used as the darker color within the points of the star, and will also be used for the border pieces, (2) La Rocca Dover Brown porcelain as the lighter color within the points of the star, and (3) Pianetto Tarsus Almond II Matte will be used as the background within the medallion.

The included video and photos are of previous stars made from different types / colors of porcelain tile and are only representative of the overall design of this custom Texas Star. This custom medallion will be made from the tiles listed above.

All items are packaged to provide maximum protection during shipping.

The amount I charge for shipping is automatically calculated based on UPS's present shipping rates and covers my cost for shipping, packaging materials, and my time. The higher shipping cost for some of my items is due to the item's weight and /or bulkiness.

Due to the weight of my products, all items are shipped either via UPS Ground (or upon request, FedEx Ground).

The Crafting Process

I make each medallion sold on my website using a variety of manual and power tools. I start with the rough cutting of the fleur de lis, star or turtle. Next I grind smooth the edges till it is just right. I move outward from there until every piece is ready. Your medallion is then attached to mesh (or occasionally a backer board), carefully packaged, and shipped to you, ready for installation.
