      My borderless Fleur de Lis medallions do not include an outer border (or "frame").  These borderless medallions have a slightly larger fleur de lis when compared to the same sized medallion that includes a border.  In addition, the borderless medallions allow you the flexibility to design a completely different style of border around the fleur de lis. 

      If, however, you prefer a matching fleur de lis and outer border, consider purchasing the medallions that include a border / frame (unless you are able to purchase the same tile I use to make the actual fleur de lis).  In this case, most tile installers would easily be able to make a border to go around the borderless medallion.
