About Me

I am a husband to my beautiful wife of 19 years, with three active children who keep us busy.  We live in The Woodlands, Texas, a community just north of Houston. 

Artisan Crafted Works is my business.  At present, I work unassisted - so all communication is directly with me.  Every item for sale on Artisan Crafted Works is designed by me, and made using a combination of tools from the ancient hammer and hardie (as shown on my logo), to modern day power tools, including a variety of water saws, in addition to other tools.  Plainly, Artisan Crafted Works is not a high volume producer of medallions or backsplashes.  You, therefore, are unlikely to ever walk into another home or business and see a medallion or backsplash of the same style as these (unless you refer your friends).

While I have enjoyed observing various kinds of art for many years, decades of my life passed before I realized that God had given me any artistic ability.  I then began experimenting with and learning the art of mosaic using various types of tile, stone, glass and even creating my own fused glass works.  The more I have created with mosaic and fused glass, the more I love and enjoy these art forms.
