This Fleur de Lis Tile Backsplash Medallion will be handcrafted from porcelain and / or ceramic tile.  This mosaic tile backsplash medallion will be mounted to a mesh backing for easy installation.

  • Dimensions:  16" wide x 16" tall
  • Porcelain / Ceramic Tile to be used:  a dark brown tile (Color "A" in 2nd photo - to be determined) for the border and the fleur de lis itself and an antique white tile (Color "B" in 2nd photo - to be determined) for the background.
  • Will include a hole for pot filler faucet
  • Grout Spacing:  varies, averaging 1/8" 
  • Medallion will ship out within 2 to 3 weeks

The primary image is from an 18" x 18" ceramic medallion and represents the overall design (not including color) desired by Mr and Mrs Sam .

The Crafting Process

I make each medallion sold on my website using a variety of manual and power tools. I start with the rough cutting of the fleur de lis, star or turtle. Next I grind smooth the edges till it is just right. I move outward from there until every piece is ready. Your medallion is then attached to mesh (or occasionally a backer board), carefully packaged, and shipped to you, ready for installation.
