This beautiful Fleur de Lis tile medallion will be crafted from porcelain floor tile resembling slate and has the option to include a glass accent band in the color of your choice.  It's design is based upon the pictured custom made backsplash that combined both porcelain tile and travertine.  This medallion will include a similar porcelain tile in the border and actual fleur de lis as in the picture.  The fill between the border and fleur de lis will, however, be made from a porcelain tile resembling travertine, and will look similar to that pictured.  This medallion will be attached to mesh for ease of handling and installation.

Please Note:  This made-to-order medallion will resemble the overall design of the included images, but will have variances as described above.  It will also be unique since the porcelain tile used has variances in textures and colors to mimic actual slate tile.

  • Dimensions (actual):  12" x 12", 18" x 18"
  • Medallion will be crafted as a diamond (at a 45 degree angle and as pictured)
  • May include colored glass accent band or matching porcelain tile - please leave note during checkout indicating your preference - include color if requesting glass.  (Note:  glass accent should only be requested if medallion will be installed as backsplash)
  • Grout spacing averages 3/16" to 1/4"

*Photo Note:  The last picture is an image provided by a customer after installation.  It shows the 12" medallion with additional outside borders which were installed by their tile contractor.  The additional borders are not included at this price, but may easily be added by your tile installer to increase the overall size of the installed medallion.

The amount I charge for shipping is automatically calculated based on UPS's present shipping rates and covers my cost for shipping, packaging materials, and my time. The higher shipping cost for some of my items is due to the item's weight and /or bulkiness.

Due to the weight of my products, all items are shipped either via UPS Ground (or upon request, FedEx Ground).

The Crafting Process

I make each medallion sold on my website using a variety of manual and power tools. I start with the rough cutting of the fleur de lis, star or turtle. Next I grind smooth the edges till it is just right. I move outward from there until every piece is ready. Your medallion is then attached to mesh (or occasionally a backer board), carefully packaged, and shipped to you, ready for installation.
