12" Travertine and Porcelain Fleur de Lis Backsplash

This Fleur de Lis tile insert will be crafted from a porcelain tile resembling slate as well as pitted travertine.  The outside border along with the actual fleur de lis will be made from the porcelain tile.  The fill between the border and the fleur de lis will be made from the travertine tile containing pitting (voids).  This medallion also includes a custom fired glass accent band.  The medallion will be attached to mesh for ease of handling and installation.  This medallion will be similar to the included photos; however, since the porcelain tile used in these photos is no longer available, a similar slate look porcelain tile will be used. 

• Dimensions (actual):  12" x 12"
• Medallion will be designed as a diamond (at a 45 degree angle)
• Will include copper / red colored glass accent band
• Grout spacing averages 3/16" to 1/4"

Without replacing the glass accent piece, this backsplash is not recommended for use as a floor medallion, as this piece could be damaged from foot traffic.  I, however, can customize this medallion by replacing the glass accent piece with a porcelain piece at no additional charge
