Ready to Ship:

New for 2026, this is my new style Texas Star medallion made with a unique thin circular border with a keystone at each star point. The border pieces comprising the round border are actually curved (in comparison to my original Texas Star which is made of almost square, trapezoid shaped pieces with 4 flat sides, laid in a circle). The decorative keystone pieces are curved on the outer edge to match the adjacent curved border pieces, with a unique keystone like design on the inside and side edges.

This Texas Star floor medallion / backsplash has been hand crafted from wood look porcelain floor tile for the star itself, with contrasting colors on each of the points of the star giving it more visual depth. The background tile has been made from a much lighter toned porcelain tile, helping the star stand out. This medallion comes mounted on a mesh backing and will be divided into sections for easy installation and handling. [If local pickup is selected during checkout, the medallion will not be divided and will be sitting on plywood.]

Dimensions: 42" x 42" (without framed square border) or 48" x 48" (includes framed square border)
Grout Spacing: averages 3/16"
Tile: All Porcelain. Star and Borders are made from Wood Look tile. Background areas made from a contrasting light colored porcelain tile.

All items are packaged to provide maximum protection during shipping.

The amount I charge for shipping is automatically calculated based on UPS's present shipping rates and covers my cost for shipping, packaging materials, and my time. The higher shipping cost for some of my items is due to the item's weight and /or bulkiness.

Due to the weight of my products, all items are shipped either via UPS Ground (or upon request, FedEx Ground).

The Crafting Process

I make each medallion sold on my website using a variety of manual and power tools. I start with the rough cutting of the fleur de lis, star or turtle. Next I grind smooth the edges till it is just right. I move outward from there until every piece is ready. Your medallion is then attached to mesh (or occasionally a backer board), carefully packaged, and shipped to you, ready for installation.
