These Two Texas Star floor medallions will be hand crafted from the porcelain floor tile and marble tile named below. These medallions will come mounted on a mesh backing and will be divided into sections for easier installation and handling. 
  •  Size: 48" x 48" each
  • Grout Spacing:  approx 3/16" 
  • The points of the star will be made from customer supplied porcelain wood plank tile in alternating colors of brown and gray
  • The background pieces will be made from customer supplied Aviorio Fiorito marble tile
  • The circular border will be made from customer supplied paver tiles
  • The square border will be made from the same brown porcelain wood plank tile used within the star
  • The porcelain tile will have a layer of thinset applied so that every piece on the medallion is the same thickness and, therefore, the front of the medallion will be even and level.

The pictured Texas Star medallion has been updated to show one of the two actual star medallions in this order.

Please allow approximately 4 to 5 weeks for your order to be ready for pickup.

The Crafting Process

I make each medallion sold on my website using a variety of manual and power tools. I start with the rough cutting of the fleur de lis, star or turtle. Next I grind smooth the edges till it is just right. I move outward from there until every piece is ready. Your medallion is then attached to mesh (or occasionally a backer board), carefully packaged, and shipped to you, ready for installation.
