This listing is for the 10 individual pieces that make up a Texas Star - 5 left pieces and 5 right pieces for each of the 5 points of the Texas Star. It does not include any border pieces nor the background pieces. The assembled / installed Texas Star will have a diameter of 36". These 10 pieces are hand crafted from Italian made porcelain floor tiles in an indigo blue color with a matte finish. I will select pieces that have some variation in color between the left and right side pieces for contrast and to give it a more three dimensional look.

Each piece will be 18" long.

Pieces will not be attached to mesh.

This is not a complete medallion. It is, however, a complete Texas Star without any border or background pieces. This would be recommended for installation in a swimming pool or a patio with a concrete or pea gravel overlay.

The amount I charge for shipping is automatically calculated based on UPS's present shipping rates and covers my cost for shipping, packaging materials, and my time. The higher shipping cost for some of my items is due to the item's weight and /or bulkiness.

Due to the weight of my products, all items are shipped either via UPS Ground (or upon request, FedEx Ground).

The Crafting Process

I make each medallion sold on my website using a variety of manual and power tools. I start with the rough cutting of the fleur de lis, star or turtle. Next I grind smooth the edges till it is just right. I move outward from there until every piece is ready. Your medallion is then attached to mesh (or occasionally a backer board), carefully packaged, and shipped to you, ready for installation.
