This Fleur de Lis Travertine Backsplash / Floor Medallion was crafted from hand picked honed and unfilled travertine tile.  This backsplash medallion includes a kiln fired glass accent piece.  This mosaic back splash is made to be installed in a diagonal pattern, and mounted to a mesh backing for easy installation.

  • Dimensions:  12" x 12"
  • Medallion Thickness:  1/2"
  • Grout Spacing:  averages 3/32" 

Since this medallion includes a glass accent piece, I recommend that it only be installed as a backsplash, not on the floor.

As with most of my products, this item may be customized.  Customizations can include different sizes, other types or colors of tile, or having it made straight (instead of diagonal).  Contact me to inquire about customizing this item for your project.

The Crafting Process

I make each medallion sold on my website using a variety of manual and power tools. I start with the rough cutting of the fleur de lis, star or turtle. Next I grind smooth the edges till it is just right. I move outward from there until every piece is ready. Your medallion is then attached to mesh (or occasionally a backer board), carefully packaged, and shipped to you, ready for installation.
