This Elegance Style Fleur de Lis backsplash medallion insert is surrounded by nominal 3" x 6" honed marble tile laid in a brick pattern with 1/8" grout spacing, allowing this insert to be installed seamlessly with same size marble tile laid in a brick pattern, with 1/8" grout spacing.  The fleur de lis itself will be between 17 and 18" tall, and made from polished marble tile.  This allows the Fleur de Lis to be installed seamlessly on a mosaic backsplash, without the use of a border / frame surrounding it.

Note Regarding these Pictures:  The Fleur de Lis insert in these pictures was made from 3" x 6" honed marble tile and polished marble tile for the fleur de lis that was sent to me by a customer.  I am able to craft a similar medallion from tile that you send me.  If you order this medallion without specifying a readily available tile from Floor & Decor, The Tile Shop, Home Depot, or Lowes, I will make it from currently available marble tile of similar color and design to the picture.

Customize this medallion:  Contact me to discuss customizing this medallion using other mosaic tiles (other colors or shapes) and / or other sizes.  You may also specify a different grout spacing other than the standard 1/8" for this medallion.

The Crafting Process

I make each medallion sold on my website using a variety of manual and power tools. I start with the rough cutting of the fleur de lis, star or turtle. Next I grind smooth the edges till it is just right. I move outward from there until every piece is ready. Your medallion is then attached to mesh (or occasionally a backer board), carefully packaged, and shipped to you, ready for installation.
