Made-to-Order

This Fleur de Lis Tile Floor Medallion / Backsplash Mural is handcrafted from porcelain floor tile with glass subway tile as the background. This medallion has my Elegance style Fleur de Lis (optionally, I am able to make it using the New Orleans Style Fleur de Lis at no additional cost - please contact me prior to ordering for this change.)

I started selling this particular medallion after a customer ordered this custom fleur de lis medallion to match the tile they purchased from Floor & Decor. Click on the closeup image to see this in detail. This backsplash medallion is mounted to a mesh backing for easy installation.

Tile Thickness: approx 5/16"
Grout Spacing: varies, averaging 1/8"

As with most of my products, this item may be customized. Customizations may include different sizes, other types or colors of tile, etc. Contact me to inquire about customizing this item for your project.

Unless labeled otherwise, the included pictures are of the 18" x 18" size medallion. While the actual fleur de lis on larger medallions will also be larger, it's size in proportion to the rest of the medallion may not be exactly the same as that pictured for the 18" x 18" size.

The overall style of the backsplash / medallion you receive will be identical to the picture. However, it will be unique in the minor variances of color and pattern common in tile.

The amount I charge for shipping is automatically calculated based on UPS's present shipping rates and covers my cost for shipping, packaging materials, and my time. The higher shipping cost for some of my items is due to the item's weight and /or bulkiness.

Due to the weight of my products, all items are shipped either via UPS Ground (or upon request, FedEx Ground).

The Crafting Process

I make each medallion sold on my website using a variety of manual and power tools. I start with the rough cutting of the fleur de lis, star or turtle. Next I grind smooth the edges till it is just right. I move outward from there until every piece is ready. Your medallion is then attached to mesh (or occasionally a backer board), carefully packaged, and shipped to you, ready for installation.
