(DEPOSIT) Made-to-Order Travertine Medallion w/ Glass Fleur de Lis for Michele L.

This listing is for payment of the DEPOSIT for a complete, 36" wide by 24" tall backsplash medallion which includes a Fleur de Lis art glass insert.  This medallion will be crafted from resin border tiles, 4" square travertine tile, and a custom made glass Fleur de Lis.  The glass Fleur de Lis will be crafted from similar colored glass as the pictured fleur de lis.  

  • Dimensions (actual):  36" wide x 24" tall
  • Glass Fleur de Lis will be 16" to 17" in height
  • Will be attached to mesh and divided into sections for easier handling and installation
  • Grout spacing averages 3/16"
  • May be signed if requested.

Total cost of medallion: $2,049 + shipping.  Deposit: $400.  Remaining Balance due prior to shipping: $1,649 + shipping (see Final Payment listing here).

Note:  While the pictured glass fleur de lis was made as a single piece of glass, I now make this fleur de lis in seven pieces just like all of my tile and stone fleur de lis.  Also:  pictured medallion has a smaller, approximately 12" tall fleur de lis.

Lead Time:  This medallion will be ready to ship on or before October 31st, 2023.

 

All items are packaged to provide maximum protection during shipping.

The amount I charge for shipping is automatically calculated based on UPS's present shipping rates and covers my cost for shipping, packaging materials, and my time. The higher shipping cost for some of my items is due to the item's weight and /or bulkiness.

Due to the weight of my products, all items are shipped either via UPS Ground (or upon request, FedEx Ground).

The Crafting Process

I make each medallion sold on my website using a variety of manual and power tools. I start with the rough cutting of the fleur de lis, star or turtle. Next I grind smooth the edges till it is just right. I move outward from there until every piece is ready. Your medallion is then attached to mesh (or occasionally a backer board), carefully packaged, and shipped to you, ready for installation.
