This will be a custom fired Glass Texas Star as described below:

  • Circular Medallion with 15" Diameter (including circular border pieces)
  • Texas Star will be made with alternating White / Off White Star pieces (for example, 5 white star pieces for left side of each point, and 5 off white star pieces for right side of each point)
  • More precise glass coloring and style will be decided by client using sample glass pieces that I will ship within 1st week after order placed.
  • Border pieces upgraded to larger curved pieces (10 total curved border pieces)
  • No background pieces (pieces shown in picture with a yellow X)
  • Completed Texas Star medallion will be attached to mesh with removable wood or plastic filler pieces in the five background areas (for stability during shipping)

Completed Glass Star will be shipped within a maximum of 4 weeks after order is placed (likely within 3 weeks), contingent on client deciding on glass choice within 2 days of receiving samples.

Note:  Included photo shows a granite Texas Star with background and corner pieces.  This listing is for a custom glass Texas Star with circular border only.

All items are packaged to provide maximum protection during shipping.

The amount I charge for shipping is automatically calculated based on UPS's present shipping rates and covers my cost for shipping, packaging materials, and my time. The higher shipping cost for some of my items is due to the item's weight and /or bulkiness.

Due to the weight of my products, all items are shipped either via UPS Ground (or upon request, FedEx Ground).

The Crafting Process

I make each medallion sold on my website using a variety of manual and power tools. I start with the rough cutting of the fleur de lis, star or turtle. Next I grind smooth the edges till it is just right. I move outward from there until every piece is ready. Your medallion is then attached to mesh (or occasionally a backer board), carefully packaged, and shipped to you, ready for installation.
